I fell in love with a co-worker's Hammerly mugs a few years back, and bought a mug as soon as I could afford one. I went down the instagram rabbit hole - as an engineer, I love to see the iterative improvements and combination of craft and creativity that goes into Curt's products. My office is just 10 minutes from the old Hammerly studio, so I was able to pick up several products in person and meet Curt and his crew. They are all kind and patient with questions, including special requests and explanations about why pink glaze is so difficult.
The latest purchase was a green goblin 16 oz tri-weave mug for my dad for Father's day, and he is so excited about the color, the ability to microwave the mug and put it in the dishwasher. It arrived in perfect condition. He LOVES the 2025 handle and says it is perfect for his hand. And he likes the way the thicker ceramic keeps his coffee warm for longer than a cheap commercial mug. He says it was the perfect gift and the best mug he's ever owned. I'm now anxious to get a triweave mug for myself (maybe ember?) and a voronoi. I've got cubes and the discontinued stars, plus a planter and a Levi the Astronaut. All are of the highest quality. I wish Curt and his team all the best for the future, and I hope they never get board and keep innovating.

I bought my first mug in early May and found another on this recent drop that I really liked. I need another mug like I need a hole in my head but this probably won't be the last that I purchase. I love the mugs but I love watching his process on IG even more. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I have bought a couple pieces a bowl and a mug. Both pieces I love! They shipped beautifully and were wrapped up as snug as a bug in a rug lol.

We recently bought two coffee mugs and a large planter. We love them all, so well made and absolutely beautiful.

If you’re looking for a flawless mug with amazing glaze colors than look no further. A $100 is the most expensive mug you’ll ever get but it’s definitely worth the price and it will never need to be replaced.

I live near Curt’s shop, and he was kind enough to let me stop in and pick up the pot I had purchased. It’s well made and it’s a special gift for our anniversary. The glaze and color is fantastic. You are not going to find that just anywhere. I loved the tour of the shop I received and the time Curt took out of his busy day to show me around. Especially the green house. That space is amazing. And getting to understand his process and see his space in person was great. Also he had packaged up the pot already, and I was impressed how well it was packed. So if you’re getting sent something in the mail, it should arrive safely and unbroken.

I have lost count of the number of mugs I have from Hammerly Ceramics. Each and every one is unique and beautiful. These mugs merge art and technology and it creates a mug that is a pleasure to hold and enjoy visually.

I had tried to order 2 months ago but wasn't fast enough. Got lucky on my timing this month. A beautiful 16oz Cubes mug in Trudeau Stardust glaze. I can only use 1 mug at a time, but I want another one. June is coming. Excellent quality on a beautiful piece of art.

I have been following Curt on instagram for several years now and I fell in love with his work as soon as I saw it. I finally decided to make a purchase for this past Mother’s Day and I was super excited for my Mom to receive her mug. There was a mixup with the product received, my Mom received the wrong glaze color and I didn’t find out until a couple days later. I wrote to Curt as soon as I realized she had received the wrong color, Curt was super quick to respond (despite the time zones) as we sorted out what to do. Curt sent a new mug with the correct glaze and I am happy to say the new mug has arrived safe and sound!!!

Someone I follow on social media shared a mug that she got from HC last year. That was the start of my own HC collection. I have at least 8 mugs, 3 planters, and 2 jars and I love each and every one. I can't describe how awesome the quality of all the items are and the glaze color combos are just so good. It's often hard to decide which item I want from a shop drop but have never been disappointed in my choice, just sad I didn't get both!
